Plastic Change Festival

This school project, completed during my studies at the Danish School of Media and Journalism, involved creating the website and visual elements for the Plastic Change Festival. The festival aimed to raise awareness about plastic's potential as a sustainable material and highlight how innovation and design can shape a better future.

Project Focus

Plastic, despite being a relatively new invention, is often viewed negatively due to environmental concerns. Less than 10% of plastic is currently reused or recycled. The festival aimed to shift the conversation from eliminating plastic to using it responsibly.

  • Developed a user-friendly website for the festival.

  • Created motion graphics and visual elements to engage visitors.

  • Focused on a clean, informative design that highlighted key speakers, researchers, and innovators.

Outcome

The Plastic Change Festival served as a platform for leading voices in science, culture, and art to share their insights on plastic’s future. The website and visuals were designed to reflect the festival’s mission of promoting responsible plastic use. Try out the prototype below:
